Chief Dr Sir & Lady Henryjoe Ofordile Triumphant joins the Saints February 11, 2018

TRIUMPHANT JOINS THE SAINTS

What an awesome and fruitful life Prof Mrs F.C.Ejike lived. You were such a rare talent that your presence provided succor to many. No wonder why everybody calls you mummy including your co-lecturers in ESUT. You are loved by all. You were endowed with great energy and an infectious optimism. You prayed with great fervor, condor and conviction. This made you to accept the 30 days Novena to Triumphant Hearts of Jesus and Mary which ended with Miracle of the sun on 30th August 2016. You called me on phone few days later telling me that the diagnosis has changed. This was proved true by your acrobatic dance performance on your son’s wedding day to the amazement of everybody.

At ESUT you rose by dint of hard work and dedication to the rank of professor. You are a bundle of brain, beauty and benevolence. You are everything to me: mummy, a sister, a friend, sister-in-law, granny, mentor, supervisor, H.O.D and erudite Professor. Mummy, I am consoled by my last memories with you. You insisted that I should stay with you on your son’s wedding day till almost everybody left the hall. You even demanded that I should convey you home but your daughter pleaded with you to allow me to go because it was getting dark.

We are not mourning your loss but the great fulfilled life that Prof Mrs F.C. Ejike lived, the difference she made to our life and her Triumphant demise at 3am of 20/01/2018 to join the saints in heaven continue to rest in perfect   peace.

Adieu Ada di Ora Mma.

Chief Dr Sir & Lady Henryjoe Ofordile

CHIDALU AGE GRADE OMADI EBE Tribute to Prof Mrs Florence Ejike February 11, 2018

CHIDALU AGE GRADE OMADI EBE

TRIBUTE TO A QUINTENSIAL MOTHER, DAUGHTER OF EBE, ERUDITE SCHOLAR,

A WOMAN OF GREAT WORTH, A GREAT ACHIEVER AND A LEADER

We the entire Chidalu Age Grade of Omadi Ebe pay a glowing Tribute to our unique daughter (Ada) of Chidalu Age Grade of Omadi Ebe, a woman of great faith and humility, mother of all (Nne ora) and daughter of our blessed Virgin Mary.

Memories are powerful things. It freezes a moment in time that our minds will one day revisit and recall. When the said news of Prof Florence Ejike death broke to us, many memories were recalled with great affection, many tears were shed and many good stories were told and retold.

Today we pour our individual memories of Prof Florence Ejike together and we thank Almighty God for the gift of her person. We remember with tears how she gave good account of herself as (Ada Ogba) of Chidalu Age Grade among others.

Prof Mrs Ejike Florence will be remembered for her hard work, disarming personality, honesty, patience and calmness even in the case of crisis. Her sincerity of purpose, unassuming nature, straight forwardness and frankness is worthy of emulation.

A role model. “The upright woman, though she dies before her time to rest, length of days nor time is not the true measure of life”. It is not how long she lived but how well she tried to live. God believes not in quantity but in quality of living. Prof Mrs Florence Ejike was a choice vessel of the lord and greatly impacted the lives of all who came in contact with her.

Unquestionably, death is God’s last gift to the living which everybody must receive before everlasting life. Ecc 3vs1,2&4 state that, there is a time for everything, a season for everything and a season for every activity under heaven. A time to born and a time to die. A time to weep and a time to laugh. And Job 21 said,” God gave and God has taken again, we are dust and unto dust we must return. The biblical injection is an indisputable fact.

It is unfortunate and particularly saddened because you did not live to see the end of the good work you started in us as to eat the good fruit of your labour, as a saying goes that one who blows the pipe must definitely enjoy the smoke. However, the undiluted love you showered on us will always remain evergreen in our memory.

In fact, your sudden demise has created a gigantic vacuum in our hearts. It is only God who decided to call you out of this darkness of life into his marvelous light to fellowship with the saints at his throne.

We take solace in the life of dedicated service you lived; you were a royal descent spiritually. Your enviable godly life style made you to stand among others and it is worthy of emulation. You were very much dedicated to your faith, always praying.

Indeed you had ran a good race, fought a good fight and we believe that our Almighty God in His infinite mercy will wear you, your merited crown. Definitely we know that your new place is better off. We love you very much, but God knows the best and love you more. Go In peace and have sound sleep with your creator.

Dr mrs IFY ORJI A GOLDEN HEART GOES HOME February 11, 2018

11 Feb 2018

                                      A GOLDEN HEART GOES HOME

FLOR.... ....you LOVED and you taught us how to LOVE beyond boundaries!!!

You were a solid, graceful woman of FEW SOFT WORDS………….. but ACTION!!!

In every situation, no matter how complicated  or “hydra-headed”, Flor was able to identify, focus and perform her ROLE to details and near-perfection.

The way and manner she left the scene is an eloquent testimony of her core value of RESPONSIBILITY; bidding everyone goodbye peacefully and without grudge (only her love, our Sorrowful Mother could have prepared her for it).

Her regular slogan in counseling was “Hafu ihe ahu, mekeduo ka oka nma” Forget all distractions and do your best……simply put LOVE THE BEST YOU CAN.

My dear sister and friend, as you have chosen to join your husband, our dear Gburugburu,(so you can remind him of the stories he has forgotten to tell….. what you did best), tell him that his world-class stories and the laughter are still reverberating in our minds as you both rest in perfect peace, till we meet to part no more.

I cannot forget that emotional  phone discussion in mid-December; as my usually elated, teasing voice came on line. Flor simply said “Ify gbadata, gbadata" then silence…..then "Kedukwenu Ejike"…….then sobbing (at both ends)……and goodnight! Flor said it all! Subsequent phone calls were "Hmmm"...nothing else was said.

May our sorrowful mother and loving Jesus cuddle you into God’s presence…and His bossom.

Eternal Rest grant her O Lord and may your perpetual light shine upon her.

May she rest in peace

Odibeze je nkeoma.
