Tribute to a Great woman of substance |
February 1, 2018 |
I was really saddened when I heard about the passing on of our great sister and friend.
Florence was a very great woman of substance and a very great God fearing woman. The short period i knew her have been a very positive period of my life, she adjust easily to situations & she proved this whenever we are going for the occasional walk along the neighbourhood as she always looked forward towards this with no complaints We always held each others hand and chatted happily, even when I felt we should end the walk to avoid her state of being tired, she would insist on finishing the length of walking distance. This showed how strong-willed she was.
Thanks to all her children, sons & daughter in law who showered her with Tender Loving Care all through the challenging period
God bless you all and May her gentle soul rest in perfect peace and may Perpetual light continue to shine upon her soul in The Mighty Name of Jesus.
Adieu Great Woman of substance

Its not how long we live or how much we amassed here on earth that matters, what really counts is the lives we touched and our impact to the world at large. You were a woman of peace and Wisdom. Keep sleeping in the bossom of the lord Mrs. Florence.

Ada, when you speak of her, speak not with tears, for thoughts of her should not be sad. Let memories of the times you shared give you comfort.

Beautiful till the end. |

My mother often told stories of Florence Nwobodo. They attended Ngwo Girls'. They were classmates. She told of her beauty and her kindness. I remember the first day I saw her. She was more beautiful than I had imagined. My friend Ngozi and get siblings are proof she was an amazing mother.
Your life's journey is now ended. But your memories will remain
And your legacies. Your kids will be fine. You and your husband did well by them. Rest in peace! Until we all meet on resurrection morning.

Time To Rest |
January 28, 2018 |
Aunty Flor,
What can I say? I thought of you all through the Xmas and New Year celebrations. I had hoped I would still chat with you sometime this year but unfortunately...
You were beautiful, tall, energetic and a mover. Also extremely funny and fun to be with. Something you passed unto your children.
Do you realize how long you fought? You were something else! It's indeed time for you to rest. That isn't so bad, is it?
Adaeze, Chidinma, Uju, Ngozi, Ugonne and Nnaezim, take heart. You got the best parents; now BE the best parents!
May the soul of Aunt Flor Ejike and the soul of all the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace. Amen.

Missing you |
January 28, 2018 |
Aunty Flo, my in-law.
l am so broken with sadness. To think I'll not see you again. Oh my God, death death why. When I was sick you encouraged me and we prayed together. You loved me so much. I can never forget 24 December 2017, you told me to get food for us to eat together and specifically asked me to put it in one plate oh. when I didn't bring the food immediately, you sent like 3 people to remind me to bring the rice and stew. Oh nooo, this is very painful. Even on 26th December we ate okpa together. Not knowing that it'll be the last day I will see you. I told you I'll see you again in February when I will visit London again. But you couldn't wait. But you fought till the end. Rest in peace. Jee nke oma mummy until we meet again.
Lots of love

Adieu Florence my dearest friend |

Dearest Florence,
I remember our teaching days at the old Army Day Secondary School, Enugu before you went on to become a lecturer in the higher institution. We also went to Ante-natal clinic together. It's hard to believe you are gone. You were always smiling, lighting up a room.
May the Lord grant you eternal rest, Amen
